After disappointment of our first experience with PTT Chem CUI (Corrossion Under Insulation) Project in 2006, where we failed on almost all fronts, I am pleased to inform you that we have completed the second project successfully.
Actually to say we completed CUI2 successfully is an understatement. We got everything right on this project. We took the job at just the right price (against my wish, Darpan wanted to take it as a challenge!), we mobilised just the right kind of people and resources, we executed the job well, we kept ourselves ahead of the schedule (against client requirement of six months, we completed project in 3-1/2 months), we got our documentation right (the fact that in PTT Chem we got our final invoice certified within a week of 100% completion proves how helpful correct and precise documentation is) and we had just the right kind of motivation, that is 'we will not fail this time'.
Congratulation Noi. A job well executed.
Moral of this story is: We have to learn lessons from our failures. We had tough time on CUI 1, we learned from it and executed CUI 2 successfully and enjoyed it. Now, Noi tells me we should take all CUI jobs in PTT Chem!
